Five men are wanted in connection to an aggravated burglary in which a family were woken in the night and threatened with knives.

Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to a burglary at a house in Clydach Road in Enfield believed to have taken place between 11.20pm and 11.40pm on June 10.

Five suspects entered the home of a husband and wife, aged 60 and 55 respectively, and their 21-year-old son and woke them up, assaulted and threatened them with knives demanding to know where their valuables were kept.

They stole cash, jewellery and electrical items before fleeing the scene. The family received medical attention but did not go to hospital.

One suspect was described as “the most vocal” with a cockney accent. He was carrying a crowbar and believed to be a black male of muscular build, around 6 feet tall wearing all dark clothing with perhaps Armani written down one sleeve. He had tights pulled over his face with holes cut out for eyes.

A second suspect is believed to be a black male, around 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a balaclava and all dark clothing.

A third suspect wore a grey parka jacket with the hood up and the top part of the jacket pulled up over his face. Two other men were completely covered in dark clothing and balaclavas.
