A cricketer helped a children's charity raise nearly £8,000.
Mike Gatting, who played for Middlesex from 1977 to 1995, took part in a tournament with Skills for Life, based in Enfield.
Its sixth charity event, at Bush Hill Park Golf Club, was held on September 21.
The day and dinner was attended by Mayor of Enfield Cllr Saray Karakus, Cllr Doug Taylor, Cllr Edward Smith,
Andy Love and businesses and community leaders.
The entertainment was provided by Enfield based choir, House of Le Touche.
Charity SFL:MAD, which supports young people looking for employment, announced the name of its new campaign.
It is hoped the new MAD to carry the knife will save lives of young people in Enfield.
