East Dulwich has been named one of the best places to live in the UK – the only south London neighbourhood to make the list.

A blogger, Muddy Stilettos, has put East Dulwich in the top 260 places to live in 2024.

The decision is based on a range of factors such as culture, house prices, places to eat and shop amongst others.

Muddy Stilettos described the neighbourhood as “cool” but “not in a graffiti-scrawled, underground clubs and street food way, think more farmers markets, art galleries and notable restaurants.”

Something that makes a neighbourhood feel all the homier to Londoners is having a good local pub.
