A 15-YEAR-OLD cyclist was air lifted to hospital after being hit by a car yesterday.
Police believe the driver was on a provisional licence but was unsupervised when her red Nissan Micra and the boy's bike crashed in Bounds Green Road, at around 5.30pm.
She stopped at the scene and her car was seized by officers.
She will be reported for driving not in accordance with her licence and the Traffic Criminal Justice Unit will be investigating.
Bounds Green Road was closed after the crash, near the junction with Truro Road, and was not re-opened until 8.30pm.
The boy was flown to the Royal London Hospital for treatment but he was conscious on arrival and his injuries were not deemed life threatening.
