A MAN found seriously injured and slumped next to a park bench in the grounds of Alexandra Palace has left police puzzled.
Officers were called by London Ambulance Service at 11.16am this morning to Alexandra Palace Way near the junction with Muswell Hill.
The victim was suffering serious head injuries and rushed to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Police officers are now trying to establish who he is and has been described as white, aged about 65 years old and between 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall.
It is not known how long the man had been lying there or how he received his injuries.
