POLICE are not treating the death of a man on the edge of Trent Park yesterday as suspicious.
Ferny Hill was cordoned off for several hours after a man was found dead in a van which also contained a gas cannister.
Police, firefighters, and paramedics were put on standby as the cannister was made safe and the man's body was removed.
Police today said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been handed to North London Coroners Court.
The road was locked down at 9.30am and reopened at around 3.30pm.
