GOLFERS teed up and raised £6,000 for a cancer charity.

Selco Builders Warehouse, in White Hart Lane, Tottenham, reached for their clubs to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Nearly 70 players took part in the tournament at Essendon Country Club, in Hertfordshire.

Jamie Robinson, manager of Selco’s Tottenham branch, said: “It was a brilliant day – the course was fantastic, the weather held fine and we were again hugely grateful to our staff and suppliers turning out in such numbers.

“The most important thing is that we raised another sizeable amount of money for Macmillan Cancer Support which will make a real difference to a fantastic charity.”
