Parents will be able to claim more than £50 worth of nappies next week.
The North London Waste Authority (NLWA), is running the Wise Up To Waste campaign, and has christened April 18 to 24 as “Real Nappy Week”.
They are encouraging parents and carers in north London to claim £54.15 worth of real nappies – reusable and made of cloth - for free.
People from Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest can claim the nappies, as NWLA say household waste is reduced by up to half if reusable nappies are used instead of disposable ones.
