A CAMPAIGN urging people to report extremist and terrorist material they see online has been launched.
The Metropolitan Police has published a distinctive red button on its website to encourage people to click on it and report suspicious activity.
The STOP campaign stands for Stop Terrorists and Extremists Online Presence and sees counter terrorism detectives remove it as quickly as possible.
Over 1,000 pages featuring pictures of beheadings, bomb-making instructions and propaganda videos are removed from the Internet each week.
To report suspicious behaviour anonymously, visit www.gov.uk/report-terrorism.
