Tottenham Independent:
St Francis de Sales pupils have a remarkable grasp of world affairs and the Scottish referendum was a hot topic in school this week.

The St Francis de Sales School Council organised a ballot for the Junior School to vote on this important decision on the future of the  300-year-old union.

The School Council designed ballot boxes and distributed posters, explaining what the YES and NO campaigns wanted.
Tottenham Independent:
309 votes were cast in total.

YES was 134 votes (43%).

NO was 175 votes  (57%).

This was remarkably  similar to the final result in the actual Scottish Referendum in which  55% said NO and 45% said YES.

Egondi, ten, said: "I think that Scotland should be independent and manage her own money and oil."

But Grace, also ten, said: "I have discussed this with my dad and we both think Scotland and England need each other and should stay good friends."
