I am writing regarding police vehicles responding to emergency calls. It seems to me that they are driven at excessive speeds. I do not see ambulances or fire engines being driven like this. It is incredibly dangerous. What are the emergencies that they are responding to? I would say it is only a matter of time before someone is killed.
People who drive like that are risking both themselves and their passengers, and pedestrians. Yesterday, I saw a police vehicle driving at least at 70 to 80mph along Lordship Lane, from Wood Green Tube station and down past the crown court. There is a pedestrian crossing there. The police car did not slow down.
Some people are blind. Some are deaf. Animals and children are at risk. Driving like this is completely unnecessary. Would you please consider slowing down.
