A reshuffle has resulted in Haringey Borough moving to a different league.

Boro will play in the Essex Senior League next season rather than the South Midlands Premier Division.

The move is due to the FA wanting to even up the divisions in step five.

Last season, the Essex League only had 19 teams whereas the South Midlands had 22 sides competing.

The Essex League has featured clubs from north east London so Haringey Boro were considered as obvious candidates to move to the competition.

As a result, their friendly against Enfield 1893 on July 13 has been cancelled.

This is because the opposition do not want to face another side in the same division.
