Tottenham have reached an agreement with Valencia for the transfer of striker Roberto Soldado, according to reports in Spain.
Spurs are believed to have matched the Spanish forward's release clause of 30 million euros after it emerged that Liverpool were set to join the chase.
The fee will however be paid in a series of installments and all that is now to be finalised is the player's medical and personal terms.
Neither are expected to be a problem however and the Spanish media report Soldado could be unveiled as a Tottenham player early next week.
