Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott is willing to take a pay cut to secure a loan move to Tottenham Hotspur, the Daily Mirror are reporting.
Turkish club Besiktas have already made an offer for Lescott but the centre back wants to stay in England to earn a World Cup place.
Manchester City are reluctant to let Lescott leave due to their own injury problems but at present, the former Everton man is behind Vincent Kompany, Matija Nastasic and Martin Demechelis.
