Tom Carroll remains optimistic of his chances in becoming a permanent fixture at the heart of Tottenham’s midfield, after impressing on loan at Queens Park Rangers.
The England Under-21 international has caught the eye with his ball-playing style in the Championship and harbours hopes of playing in the Premier League next term, even if it’s not for Spurs.
“I'm contracted at Spurs and it's down for the two clubs to talk. QPR's a great club and I've enjoyed my time here, so we'll see what happens," Carroll told the Fulham Chronicle.
However, Watford-born Carroll admits that after coming through the youth ranks in North London, Spurs is where he wants his chance.
"I want to make it at Tottenham, that's my main aim. I've been there since I was eight so it's obviously a club close to my heart," said Carroll.
