Haringey’s boys and girls volleyball teams both reached the semi-finals of the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games.
Haringey boys clinched their finals place by beating Hounslow 25-19 in Leyton.
The reward is a tie against Enfield for the right to play in the gold medal match at Crystal Palace next month.
Team coach Michael Omojudi said: “It’s very special for them. Last year we had a good time and we didn’t get through, but this year we came up bigger and stronger and we did really good today and made it through to the semis.”
Haringey girls topped their group, winning all five matches. In the knockout stage, Haringey edged to a 26-24 win over Barnet to book a semi-final against Kingston.
