Alexandra Park suffered an eight-wicket defeat to Old Actonians on Saturday in the Middlesex Championship Division One.
The team made a positive start and skipper Derick Cordy scored 39 before a controversial dismissal when the wicket-keeper looked as if he lost control of the ball.
The rest of the side struggled to make scores and Alexandra Park were dismissed for 147.
Old Actonians were in no mood to let this advantage slip and they easily reached the target for the loss of just two wickets.
Alexandra Park Seconds earned a draw with Old Actonians Seconds.
Park scored 190 for six in response to their opponents’ total of 250 for nine.
