Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sign River Plate star Manuel Lanzini, according to the Daily Express.
The 21-year-old playmaker was a key figure for the Argentinian outfit last season as they were crowned Primera Division champions.
Besiktas, Lazio and Villareal are also all interested in signing the player and it is understood that the latter are readying a bid to prise him away from River Plate.
Pochettino has already been busy in this summer’s market and the imminent sale of creative midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson could create space for Lanzini.
River Plate president Rodolfo D’Onofrio suggested that he will consider all offers for the star.
He said: "Of course, we are going to analyse an offer if it comes in.
"However, we are also going to listen to what the player wants to do."
