Hugo Lloris has been shortlisted for the Premier League's Player of the Month award for September whilst head coach Mauricio Pochettino is up for the Manager of the Month gong.

Goalkeeper Lloris will be up against Manchester United pair Anthony Martial and Daley Blind as well as Watford's Odion Ighalo, Leicester City's Jamie Vardy and West Ham United's Anthony Martial.

The French captain kept two clean sheets from three Premier League fixtures in September and helped the White Hart Lane side to an impressive three wins from three against Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Manchester City.

It is that form which has seen boss Pochettino shortlisted alongside Manchester United's Louis van Gaal, West Ham United's Slaven Bilic and Roberto Martinez of Everton.

Only Pochettino and van Gaal boast 100 per cent win ratios for last month as West Ham and Everton both dropped two points.

The winners will be announced at 6am on Friday morning.
