Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino will reportedly sign a new £3.5 million contract at White Hart Lane this summer.

The Daily Mail report the Argentine head coach, who has been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea this season, will commit his future to Spurs by signing an improved deal with the north London club.

Pochettino, who was appointed as Tim Sherwood’s successor in the summer of 2014 following a successful 18-month spell at Southampton, has three years to run on his current deal.

There will reportedly be a £2 million release clause in the new contract, should another team wish to prise the former Espanyol boss away from Tottenham.

Spurs are currently second in the Premier League to shock leaders Leicester City and trail by five points.

Pochettino has been credited with the successful integration of a number of young players during his time at the club, most notably Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Eric Dier.
