National reports suggest Manchester City are very confident on bringing flying Spurs full-back Kyle Walker to Eastlands, once England's games with Scotland and France have finished.

The 27-year-old made the move to Spurs from Sheffield United in 2009 for £9million and has gone on to be first choice for both his club and country.

Walker was said to be a target for a large number of teams but it is reported that he has joined Manchester City to be closer to his family, who live in Sheffield.

City will be facing Spurs in Nashville on July 29 and Guardiola is thought to want to complete the deal for the the Tottenham defender befor ethen.

Man City have already been very busy during the transfer window and have spent £80m on Monaco’s Bernardo Silva and Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson.
