Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly cooled their interest in Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.
According to national reports, Spurs are having reservations over the England international and with Dele Alli playing in the same position, they are now unsure if he is worth purchasing.
Barkley has twelve months to run on his existing contract and Toffees boss Ronald Koeman warned the midfielder that he would sell him this summer, should he not put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Goodison Park.
The 23-year-old made 39 appearances in all competitions for Everton last season, scoring six times, and Koeman has shown he is ready to replace the England international, having secured the signing of Davy Klaassen from Ajax.
