Haringey Borough took a major step towards safety after a 1-0 win at Wroxham in Ryman Division One North on Saturday.
The visitors left it late to grab the winner after substitute Alexander Cathline fired home the crucial goal in the 83rd minute.
It was a valuable three points for Haringey, who are 16th in the table, on a day when the other teams in the bottom half failed to win.
Boro’s home game with Thamesmead Town on Tuesday night was postponed following a pitch inspection.
