Spurs' young guns crashed out of the FA Youth Cup fifth round as they lost 8-4 to Bolton Wanderers in an incredible goal-ridden encounter.

Coulthirst gave Tottenham an early lead slotting home McEvoy's cross in the fifth minute but Bolton equalised in the 23rd minute when Walker scored from the edge of the area.

Wanderers then took the lead as Youngs broke through midfield before finishing coolly past McGee and Walker grabbed his second with a great finish from 20-yards to make it 3-1 not long after.

McEvoy reduced the deficit to one just before half time, finishing well from close range to make it 3-2.

Bolton scored three goals in fifteen minutes after the break as Lester, Youngs and Walker made it 6-2.

Ruben Lameiras scored from the penalty spot and another close range finish from Coulthirst gave Spurs hope with 20 minutes remaining, but the result was put beyond doubt when Youngs completed his hat-trick.

There was still time for one more too as Zach Clough tapped in McGee's save from Newby to score the twelfth and final goal of an unbelievable match.
