Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jake Livermore is set to join Hull City on a permanent basis, according to the Daily Mail.

The 24-year-old central midfielder spent last season on loan at the KC Stadium, establishing himself as a key member of the Tigers side which reached the FA Cup and secured a qualifying place in the Europa League.

Livermore, who had also attracted interest from Crystal Palace, made 41 appearances for the Tigers in all competitions last season as Steve Bruce's side finished 16th in the Premier League.

Enfield-born Livermore made 58 appearances as a Spurs player, scoring once.
