A day after completing the £8m signing of Tottenham Hotspur’s Jake Livermore, Hull City have launched a £4m bid for centre-back Michael Dawson, according to the Evening Standard.
Dawson, 30, has a year left on his deal at White Hart Lane and despite being club captain, is seen as expendable.
The former Nottingham Forest defender could be sold to raise funds for new head coach Mauricio Pochettino to revamp his squad.
Part of England’s 2010 World Cup squad, Dawson has also been linked with Everton and Newcastle United this summer.
