Bournemouth defender Adam Smith has ruled out moving back to White Hart Lane and says he will remain a Bournemouth player next season.
Smith has reportedly been on Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino’s wishlist as a replacement for Kyle Walker, ahead of the right-back's probable move to Manchester City.
But speaking to The Mirror, Smith said: "Transfer talk is part of football and speculation builds at the end of every season.
"It is always nice to be talked about in a positive way, because it means you are doing something right. I would rather that than be getting bad press.
"But I am a Bournemouth player and planning to have a nice holiday and then come back here next season."
Smith was part of the Spurs academy and only made one appearance before signing for The Cherries on a free transfer three years ago.
