THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN ELSTREE AND BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2017

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN ELSTREE AND BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2017 NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Aldenham Road, Elstree from its junction with A411 Watford Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 788 metres. An alternative route will be via A411 (Watford Road/Elstree Road), A41 Tylers Way, Dagger Lane and Aldenham Road.

2. that length of B5378 Shenley Road, Borehamwood from its junction with the A5135 Elstree Way/Brook Road roundabout north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Potters Lane, a distance of approximately 767 metres. An alternative route will be via Brook Road, Hartforde Road and B5278 Cowley Hill.

3. that length of Studio Way, Borehamwood from its junction with the A5135 Elstree Way roundabout north eastwards and northwards to its junction with the Banks Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 330 metres. An alternative route will be via A5135 Elstree Way, Rowley Lane and Studio Way. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 June 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, BOREHAMWOOD) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2017 NOTICE
is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce waiting restrictions in Borehamwood as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Monday 12 June 2017. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected from 1 June 2017 to 13 July 2017 during normal office hours, at the offices of Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood and at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford, or viewed on line at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting Borehamwood and looking at Ref: H00816. Enquiries relating to the Order should be referred to the Highways Engineer concerned Martin Nevill
tel: 01992 658272 or martin.nevill6hei1fordshire.gov.uk Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose. SCHEDULE: No waiting at any time -effecting those sections of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plans- Parts of Lexington Close, Chandos Road, Clarendon Road, Leeming Road, Farrant Way, Organ Hall Road, Cowley Hill, Palmers Road and Gateshead Road.
