THE GLA ROADS AND SIDE ROADS (HARINGEY) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 A503 SEVEN SISTERS ROAD AND A1 ARCHWAY ROAD VARIATION ORDER 2018
1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that on 29th January 2018 it made the above named order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The GLA Roads and GLA Side Roads (Haringey) Red Route Consolidation Traffic Order 2007 A503 Seven Sisters Road and A1 Archway Road Experimental Variation Order 2016 ("the experimental Order") was made under section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and came into force on 19th August 2016.

3. The general nature of the experimental Order was:

(1) change the times of operation of the parking and disabled
persons' vehicles bay outside Nos.701 to 705 Seven Sisters Road from no stopping Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm except 10am to 4pm parking 20 mins no return 40 mins to No stopping at any time except 10am to 4pm parking 20 mins no return 40 mins;
(2)introduce a 7pm to 7am taxi rank at the above location;
(3)introduce a 10pm to 7am taxi rank opposite Nos. 291 to 301 Archway Road;
(4)replace the single red line restriction "No Stopping Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm" at the north-eastern kerb-line of Archway Road from opposite Nos 291 Archway Road to the existing bus stop T with a double red line restriction "No stopping at any time".
4. Transport for London has carefully considered whether or not the provisions of the experimental Order should be continued indefinitely and has decided that they should be so continued.

5. Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on Local Authorities' by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and in accordance with regulation 23 of the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996, Transport for London has made the The GLA Roads and GLA Side Roads (Haringey) Red Route Consolidation Traffic Order 2007 A503 Seven Sisters Road and A1 Archway Road Variation Order 2018 ("the permanent Order"). That Order will come into force on 5th February 2018, and the effect of that Order will be to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of the experimental Order.

6. The roads which would be affected by the Order are A503 Seven Sisters Road and A1 Archway Road.

7. A copy of the permanent Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the order and a copy of the experimental Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of;

8. Any person wishing to question the validity of the permanent Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which that Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
