BEWDLEY schoolboy Oliver Mulders has signed for Birmingham City FC.
The eight-year-old son of former Kidderminster Harriers defender Jan signed in front of a 32,000 crowd before Birmingham's Championship match against Burnley.
He will be a member of the Birmingham City under-nine academy next season and will play against Premiership and Football League academy sides.
Mulders was one of only 10 boys to sign for Birmingham and the only one from Wyre Forest.
Oliver, who attends St Ann's school in Bewdley, started playing for Bewdley Town Mini-Kickers when he was five and has had two years with the squad.
Bewdley Town Under-nines won their League Cup at the weekend, beating local rivals Warnden Sharks 1-0.
