DROITWICH Spa Tennis Club's open day was hailed as a success after dozens of children paid a visit to it on Saturday.
Youngsters were shown how to play tennis by coaches at the club, on Church Lane, and got a chance to see the its juniors play a league match.
Everyone also tested their serve with the speed gun and took on the ball machine on a bright afternoon.
Club member Kate Hughes said: "The day was a great success. We had even more children than we thought we would come down.
"Everybody seemed to have a great time and many took an interest in playing tennis."
If interested in joining the club junior sessions are held on Monday nights between 4pm and 8pm by coach Allan Benbow and between 9am and 12pm on Saturday mornings, when Michael Crooks tutors children.
The club also has a new deal, with one junior joining free if an adult signs up for the club.
