WESSEX RETURN?: Kyle Critchell, in the colours of Southampton, gets to grips with former Weymouth forward Kirk Jackson
ECHOSPORT can confirm that former Southampton trainee Kyle Critchell is in talks with Weymouth about a possible move.
The Dorchester-born defender moved to Chesterfield in January but was released when the Spireites failed to stave off relegation in Coca-Cola League One. The Saints originally spotted the 20-year-old when he was playing for Weymouth Reserves.
A return to the Wessex Stadium now looks certain with further negotiations with Terras' boss Jason Tindall due to take place on Monday.
