THE March meeting was well attended, with a welcome visit from members of Hanbury WI.

The group who had taken part in the Peopleton Quiz went on to the County Quiz Final on March 5 but were less successful on that occasion.

Invitations had been received to interesting talks at Feckenham, Bentley Pauncefoot and Cookhill and to join the 90th birthday celebrations of Hanbury WI.

Members were also invited to take part in a dawn chorus walk at Pewcroft Farm.

The monthly Strollers group announced a repeat attempt, after a very wet February, at a walk around Studley, starting at the church and including a pub lunch.

This month's talk was Micro Magic, a long-awaited return by Sue Robinson, demonstrating with the benefit of 20 years' experience and the able assistance of her husband.

Reluctant cooks were shown just how easy and successful microwave cooking could be, with a host of useful tips as well as the chance to taste her mouth-watering cuisine, including excellent cake and dessert recipes.

Visitors are always welcome, with friends and neighbours warmly invited to the meeting today at 7.30pm with a talk on Gardens in Trust.
