A £50,000 grand piano which off the back of a removal lorry while being delivered to an Exmoor music studio could be ready to play in two weeks.

The mishap hit the national headlines when a world-renowned Bösendorfer concert piano being delivered to the Exmoor HQ of the Two Moors Festival, crashed to the ground landing on its lid.

The instrument was to have been played in a series of concerts across Exmoor and Dartmoor during April including one at St George's parish church, Dunster, on April 28.

Now, Lance Green, the G' in specialist piano movers G and R removals, told the County Gazette the stricken Bösendorfer would be in perfect condition in time for its delivery back to festival organisers at the end of the month.
