A REGENERATION group has rearranged its annual meeting after queries about staff contracts were answered.

The meeting of Crook Community Partnership was cancelled last month because of concerns about the lack of human resource policies in staff contracts.

But following discussions between trustees and volunteer group 2D, a new date has been set.

Problems had arisen over the lack of health and safety, sickness absence and disciplinary procedures, but the trustees have drawn up a new structure. A spokesman for the partnership said that a recovery plan had been agreed.

He said: "It was a welcome chance for the trustees to express concerns with an outside third party and seek advice and guidance.

"Financially, the partnership is sound and now with staff contracts with HR policies in place, it is in a much better position."

More policies are being drawn up to ensure that staff and trustees are aware of the law relating to the procedures.

The meeting will now take place on May 15, at the Salvation Army Hall in Crook, at 7pm.
