AN INCREDIBLY immersive journey to the dark side of the moon and back will still take place in Colwyn Bay.

Pink Floyd tribute The Floyd Effect will now bring their incredible expertise to Theatr Colwyn on the new date of Saturday, November 14 at 7.30pm.

With members who have worked with the likes of David Bowie, Janet Jackson, Jon Bon Jovi, Brian Adams and Keith Emerson - and others who have performed on Broadway and in the Royal Albert Hall, The Floyd Effect isn’t just a bunch of enthusiasts who love the music of Pink Floyd - it’s a band of the highest calibre that loves the music of Pink Floyd.

Renowned for the remarkable accuracy with which it performs the band’s canon, The Floyd Effect faithfully recreates the music and intensity of a Pink Floyd concert without recourse to backing tracks, racks of computers, or other technological wizardry. Every note that you hear is played and sung by the band, making each concert a genuine ‘live’ event.

The Floyd Effect pays tribute to three decades of innovation with an unbroken performance of the peerless Dark Side Of The Moon album, while also including tracks from Wish You Were Here, The Wall, Animals and The Division Bell.

The music is supported by a dramatic light show - completely revamped in 2018 - incorporating all the trappings of Pink Floyd live with two sets of projections, smoke and lasers.

Tickets are £22.20, with concessions available. To book visit theatrcolwyn.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01492 556677.
