A school in Wood Green has emerged as the most improved in the country.
Department for Education figures published this morning show that 31 per cent of pupils at St Thomas More Catholic School, in Glendale Ave, achieved five GCSEs at grades A* to C in 2010, but 91 per cent did in 2013.
In August, the Glendale Avenue school was declared the best secondary school in the borough.
In the past year, the school has been given outstanding status by Ofsted and achieved the joint highest A level results in Haringey.
