Community groups opposing Haringey Council cuts have joined together to campaign.
At a meeting in Wood Green Social Club this evening, groups including Save Haringey Youth Service, Haringey Autism, UCU teaching union, Haringey NUT, Unison, Haringey Older People's Forum, Haringey Alliance for Public Services and Haringey Defend Council Housing decided to work together to oppose funding cuts.
Speeches were given by people living and working in Tottenham, including teachers, health care workers, and civil servants.
All groups protested at the £70 million cut to the council's budget over the next three years.
A protest has been organised to take place outside the Civic Centre, Wood Green, at the council's next cabinet meeting on Tuesday February 10.
