Liberal Democrat councillors held a meeting with a Post Office representative in a bid to keep post offices in the area open.
Post offices in Crouch End and Muswell Hiil are due to be privatised over the next couple of years and if they are not bought, there is a danger they could be closed.
Haringey Lib Dems held the meeting on January 29 to “make it clear” that people want the post offices to be kept with the same or better services and opening hours.
They have also launched a petition about this issue that has been signed by more than 800 people.
