A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with seven moped robberies carried out within an hour.
The teenager, who is from Tottenham, was a pillion passenger on the moped and was found to have 13 mobile phones when police stopped him.
The robberies took place between 1.15pm and 2.15pm in Hornsey, Crouch End and Muswell Hill on Thursday (June 7).
The boy was caught by police at 2.20pm in Middle Lane, Crouch End, while the moped driver escaped.
Nine of the mobile phones have been returned to their owners.
He appeared in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Saturday, charged with seven counts of robbery.
