Weather

Any showers this evening will ease, leaving clear periods overnight. Tonight is expected to remain warm with light winds. Tomorrow will be a little cloudy but hot, with temperatures reaching 30 °C.

Travel

Severe disruption on Thameslink between St Pancras International and Sutton, and between St Pancras International and East Croydon due to earlier signalling problem at Streatham Common. Tickets being accepted on local buses, London Overground, London Underground, Southeastern, South Western and Tramlink services.

Ponders End: Usual congestion on A1010 Hertford Road High Street Northbound at A110 Southbury Road. Travel time is seven minutes. Slow traffic on A110 Southbury Road Eastbound before A1010 Hertford Road High Street. Travel time is four minutes. Queueing traffic on A110 Nags Head Road and Lea Valley Road from Ponders End to Chingford. Travel time is eight minutes.

Redbridge: Queueing traffic due to earlier broken down van on A12 Eastern Avenue Eastbound at George Green Tunnel, congestion to Old Ford. All lanes have been re-opened.

Enfield: Usual slow traffic on A1055 Bullsmoor Lane and Mollison Avenue Westbound before A10 Great Cambridge Road. Travel time is 14 minutes.

Borehamwood: Delays on A1 Southbound at A411 Barnet Lane (Stirling Corner). Travel time is seven minutes.

Potters Bar: Queueing traffic and traffic heavier than normal on Bignells Corner at M25 J23 / A1(M) J1 / A1 / A1081 St Albans Road South Mimms, congestion on A1081 to M25 J22 / B556 (St Albans / The Bell Roundabout / London Colney). No incidents have been seen to explain the very slow traffic on the roundabout.

Mill Hill: Queueing traffic on A1 Barnet Way Southbound at A5109 / A41 (Apex Corner). Travel time is four minutes.

Tube

London Overground: Severe delays between Highbury & Islington and West Croydon only, in consequence of signal problems at Streatham. Tickets will be accepted on London Underground services via any reasonable route. There is a good service on all other routes.

London Tramlink: Minor delays due to a broken-down bus at West Croydon.

Waterloo and City Line: Minor delays due to an absence of train operators.
