Some past members of staff and pupils came back to the school for a tea party to celebrate a school’s 180th anniversary.
Attendees were invited to St Matthew’s CE Primary School in South Street, Enfield, to have refreshments in the hall followed by a tour of the school led by our year 6 pupils on October 31.
Head teacher, Louise Whitaker said: “Both events have been really successful, and the children have learnt so much about the history of the school and the surrounding areas.
“We were so proud of our Year 6 pupils who were excellent guides to our visitors and all the pupils performed their dances and songs with joy and enthusiasm, inspiring the audience to join in and give rapturous applause.”
