A funeral director has given money to a trust which helps young people stay out of trouble on the streets.
The father of Damilola Taylor a ten-year-old killed in a high-profile case of youth violence back in 2000 in Peckham has received money from the Dignity Caring Funerals outside W Nodes Funeral Directors in Wood Green.
The Trust set up after Damilola’s murder is committed to providing inner-city youths with opportunities to play, learn and live their lives free of fear and violence.
As a result of Mr Taylor being invited by arranger Samantha-Jane Streete - Porter and his subsequent appearance at W Nodes Funeral Directors Wood Green – Part of Dignity Caring Funerals.
The visit took place on March 21 where three recent funerals for victims of knife violence in Enfield have been conducted.
