An exclusive interactive digital workshop is being held by the district council for residents who are keen to become more tech-savvy.
The Digital Inclusion Interactive Workshop aims to share information and hear views from those who are concerned about their limited digital skills.
In a recent survey commissioned by Epping Forest District Council and in partnership with charity Citizens Online revealed around 21,000 Epping Forest residents lack essential digital skills.
A statement released by Epping Forest District Council, said: “We want to establish a Digital Inclusion Network across the district with a joint action plan to help tackle some of the biggest problems being faced by providers in the area.
“The workshop would suit those interested in digital transformation for their organisations and how to ensure that more people can use your online services.”
Alongside helping boost customers, clients and tenant’s confidence about understanding the digital world, help will also be on hand for organisations to prepare for Universal Credit.
Anyone who is interested in attending must bring a smartphone or laptop so you can access the free Wi-Fi to take part in the sessions.
The Digital Inclusion Interactive Workshop takes place on Thursday, May 30, 10.30am – 12.30pm at the Civic Offices in Epping.
