Aldi appear to be opening its first store in Watford - and it'll be just yards from a new Lidl.
A 'coming soon' sign has been erected in the last couple of days at the former Toys'R'Us store in Century Park near Watford Arches.
The budget German supermarket is the fastest-growing in the UK with over 825 stores and 34,000 employees.
The store will be a stones throw away from Lidl which is currently being constructed on the corner of Lower High Street and Waterfields Way.
Aldi has not confirmed when the new branch will be open.
It leaves Waitrose as the only major supermarket without a large store in Watford.
Aldi and Lidl will join Tesco Extra, Morrisons, Asda, two Sainsbury's, Iceland, and M&S food in the town.
