A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing attack.
Criston Preddie, 28, of Tennyson Close, Enfield, has been charged with murder after the death of a 46-year-old woman at a residential Enfield address on Saturday (September 28).
Police were called to the address on Tennyson Close at 7:23pm to the victim suffering serious stab injuries.
Officers attended alongside with the London Ambulance Service, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Her next of kin has been informed and a post-mortem examination and formal identification will take place in due course.
It is understood that the deceased and Preddie were related to each other. Detectives from Specialist Crime are continuing to investigate.
Preddie will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court today (September 30).
