A man has been charged with attempted murder after a police firearms officer was hit by a car in north London.
The officer was struck by a car in White Hart Lane, Tottenham, on Tuesday after an armed stop.
The driver stopped for police, but then drove at speed towards the officer, who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been discharged.

- Aydin Altun, 25, of Suffolk Road, Tottenham, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Friday.
- Four males, two aged 17, one aged 18 and one aged 19 were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
- A woman, aged 23, was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and was also released on bail.
