A DOG owner spat in the face of a woman after she pushed his springer spaniel away when it began jumping up at her.
The woman, in her 60s, was walking her own dog in a field near St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Gillingham, around 3.15pm on Sunday.
A black and white springer spaniel jumped up at the woman and started circling around her dog.
After pushing the spaniel away a man, who was with the owner of that dog, came over and started shouting abuse at the victim. As she tried to walk away the owner of the spaniel spat in her face and made threats.
When the woman tried to take a photograph of him with her mobile phone, he grabbed her and threatened to smash her phone.
The two men are both described as white, aged between 35 and 40 years old and of medium build with short hair. They were both wearing jeans and green Wellington boots.
