Police are looking to talk with two teenagers who were attacked by a group.
Two teenage girls were attacked by a group of teenagers in St Mary's Churchyard on High Street, Watford, on January 9 at 4.45pm.
Police became aware of the attack through CCTV footage but were unable to track down or identify the victims of the attack.
PC Hollis, from Watford’s Town Centre Team, is investigating the case and is hoping to talk to the victims to find out more about the attack.
She said: “We understand that whoever has been assaulted is probably very shaken up and scared to speak with police about what happened.
“I’m appealing for the victims, or parents of the victims, to come forward and engage with us to assist our investigation.
“The CCTV for this incident is extremely shocking and I am very keen to deal with the people behind this unprovoked and violent attack.
“This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and the people responsible need to be held accountable.
“In addition, if you witnessed this incident please get in contact. Even something that may seem insignificant could be vital to us solving this case.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Hollis via email at harriet.hollis@herts.pnn.police.uk.
