All lanes are running on the M25 after an overturned trailer caused chaos on the motorway.
Three lanes of four were closed anticlockwise between j19 for Watford and j18 for Rickmansworth, Highways England reported.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said the crash involved a trailer which had overturned. It happened at around 11.40am.
A photo published on Twitter showed a white vehicle towing a trailer which had flipped over.
The vehicle was also facing in the wrong direction.

Traffic officers were on scene alongside Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue.
Closures were been in place on the motorway for more than two hours.
Highways England said the lane closures had been lifted at around 1.50pm.
While the incident was ongoing, there were tailbacks for miles, back to j21 for the M1.
Even when the motorway was fully re-opened, it took some time for the queues to clear.
Queues were back to j21 on the M25 for the M1 adding at least 45 minutes to journey times, Highways England says.
If travelling in #Hertfordshire #Buckinghamshire #GreaterLondon pls be aware there is only 1 lane running #M25 anti-clockwise #Rickmansworth #Leavesden #Watford. There are approx. 5.5 miles of congestion which is expected to add 45 mins to normal journey times. Plan ahead.

The delays on this section of the M25 have now cleared - however queues have formed further down the carriageway at j17 round to the M4.
